Single Cabin Unit #4

Our little cabin was very nice. It was clean and suited our needs. The host was very responsive and communicated quickly to questions. The area was quiet, and we felt safe.

A comfortable and quiet stop along the way. Positive: It was quiet. Negative: We had no cell reception. Fortunately I had taken a screenshot of the location or I wouldn’t have been able to find it. Still had to stop and ask where the Chevron and Subway were. They were a few miles further north up the road (from Mack’s Inn.

Overall wonderful experience! Great proximity to Yellowstone and right next to restaurants and a grocery store so plenty of food options. It’s far enough from the road so not much noise which is great for the early sleepers who may be going hiking in the morning. I only had a couple small gripes. The stone floors and carpet were a bit dirty upon our arrival so I’d recommend house sandals. This was a very small issue given we were out of the cabin most of the day. Additionally it got fairly warm during the afternoons but to be fair it was summer and like I said we were out often out. I’m sure during the winter the heater works great but there’s not much in ways of cooling down before the temp drops naturally. That said cracking the window open for a cool breeze at night was lovely! We also only used the hot tub once but it was easy to use and heavenly in the morning. Parking was also easy and accessible. If you’re planning on not eating out make sure you have paper plates/cutlery which can also be bought at the aforementioned grocery store. It was also incredible to be able to shower in a full bathroom after a day of hiking.

It did the job for what we needed it, but it didn’t have wash clothes, the towels were rough cheep towels, outside was in bad shape. Not at all what it looks like in pictures. Overall not worth the cost.
