Thundering Herd Lodge

The view and situation of the property were wonderful. It was very roomy and accommodated our group well. All king beds plus pull out sofas and chairs. The beds upstairs were good and the mattresses were good. There was plenty of closet space in bathrooms and bedrooms and the TVs worked well. We were able to use AirPlay to cast from our phones. The beds downstairs were less supportive. It was very warm in the evenings on the main floor and upstairs even with fans running and closing windows in the heat of the day. We were able, using extra fans from home, to get things cooled off in time for sleeping. The downstairs also had a musty smell. Half of the outdoor chairs were broken. Sheets were very worn. In one closet downstairs, extra blankets were just thrown in a heap in the closet. Some of the bathrooms had no hand soap and some showers had no body wash. Screens had holes in them so that when you were trying to move some air through in the evening, bugs came in through the screen holes.Making a few simple changes would make this cabin spectacular!!

This was a great place to stay with amazing views. It was stocked with everything that you could need and was very clean. Will rent again if we come back!

Very very spacious and close to everything. More than enough room and no problems with anything. Would definitely stay again.
